Rigix syrup is a second-generation antihistamine used for the treatment of allergic rhinitis, urticarial, and dermatitis. It is an antihistamine drug that works by blocking histamine chemicals which are responsible for allergic reactions that take place in our body. This syrup is ineffective in a serious allergic reaction such as anaphylaxis (severe, potentially life-threatening).
Rigix is available in the form of syrup, capsules, and tablets. Mostly syrup is prescribed for children and tablets for adults.
Rigix syrup is used for the treatment and to give relief from sneezing, runny nose, itchy & watery eyes, itchy nose or throat itching, dermatitis, eczema, and seasonal allergies.
